We cover Southlake, including Timarron, Shady Oaks, Stone Lakes, Clariden Ranch, Carillon, Southlake Woods, Westwick Hills, Coventry Manor, Monticello, Myers Meadow, and the homes around Town Square. Carroll ISD families included.

We’re already taking Thanksgiving and Christmas bookings. Phones 6:00am–11:00pm Central. A manager is on call 24/7 if a visit needs backup.

What we offer in Southlake

Vacation & Travel Pet Sitting — Southlake is a short hop to DFW on 114. When Carroll is out or you are flying, your assigned sitter keeps feeding, meds, walks, and play on your pets’ usual home schedule. Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and small caged animals. No kennel drop-off.

Daily Dog Walking — Midday walks for workdays toward Las Colinas, Fort Worth, or the airport. Same walker, same window — not whoever taps an app. Many Southlake lots already have room to run; we add a neighborhood loop when that is what your dog needs.

Cat Sitting — Litter, portioned feeding, play, and medication in the house. See how a 25-minute cat visit works.

Short-Notice & Holiday Coverage — Sitters live near the homes they visit, so a last-minute Southlake request is often possible. Thanksgiving and Christmas fill first. Call if you already have travel dates.

House Sitting & Home Checks — Mail and porch packages (Town Square deliveries add up), lights, bins, plants, and a walk-through. Most clients add this onto pet visits rather than booking it alone.

What Makes Us Different From Rover and Wag

Southlake gated streets and gate codes are not a job for a stranger with a profile. You are hiring a managed W-2 employee of a company that has sat pets here since 2003. Side by side:

Cat sitting in Southlake

Southlake cats do better at home than in a carrier to a kennel. A visit is 25 minutes: fresh water, food the way you portion it, a scooped box, play, and a look at how your cat is actually doing. You get a photo.

Sitters handle pills, insulin, sub-q fluids, eye drops, and inhalers. If a cat hides in a Timarron or Carillon house they have never fully mapped, they sit on the floor and wait. They do not leave without seeing the cat.

Once a day is the minimum for a healthy adult. Kittens, seniors, and medical cats need two. We will not leave a pile of food and a full box over a long Carroll-break weekend.

Your Home’s Security Is Our Priority

Southlake notices marked vans. Our sitters do not wear branded uniforms or drive wrapped cars, and we do not plant a yard sign that says you are gone.

Your sitter looks like a neighbor or family member stopping by — which is the point on a gated Timarron street or a quiet cul-de-sac off Southlake Boulevard. Gate codes stay with the one assigned person. We want the house to look lived-in, not advertised.

Discretion isn’t a perk. It’s standard.

Meet our sitters

You meet your assigned Southlake-area sitter in your home before the first paid visit. They are a W-2 employee, not a rotating contractor. Ashley and Laura in the office handle scheduling. A manager is on call 24/7 if a visit needs a backup sitter from our 250+ staff.

Katherine

Southlake-area pet sitter. “I enjoy working for DFW Pet Sitting because it’s a pleasure for me to help owners and their pets. As an animal lover, I find taking care of pets extremely rewarding. One of the things that impresses me about DFW Pet Sitting is the support we get from management, who are consistently available for us when we need it.”

What clients say

Southlake families review us on the same Google listing as the rest of DFW — 4.9 stars from 500+ reviews. That is the company listing, not a Southlake storefront. Read the reviews, then meet your sitter in person.

FAQs

I live in a gated Southlake community. How does access work?

Timarron, Stone Lakes, Clariden Ranch, and several other Southlake neighborhoods are gated. At the free meet-and-greet you walk your assigned sitter through gate codes, HOA rules, and where to park. That information stays with that one employee. If a backup sitter is ever needed, we call you first — we do not pass codes around the office.

Can you give my pet medication?

Yes. Southlake sitters handle oral meds, insulin, sub-q fluids, eye drops, and inhalers. You go over the routine in person at the meet-and-greet so the person who shows up already knows the cabinet, the fridge, and the cat who hides.
