Meet Christina: Dedicated Pet Sitter in Dallas, Duncanville, and Cedar Hill areas

We are thrilled to introduce Christina, our Pet Sitter of the Month! Christina’s passion for animals and dedication to providing exceptional pet care make her an invaluable member of our team. We asked Christina to share her journey and experiences as a pet sitter, and here’s what she had to say:

What prompted you to become a professional pet sitter?

“With rising costs, I was looking for ways to increase our family’s income. I’ve always loved animals and grew up with a variety of pets, from dogs and guinea pigs to goldfish and gerbils. In middle school, I volunteered at an animal shelter every Saturday morning, walking dogs and cleaning cages. As an adult, I’ve had three different cats, and I can never get enough time with animals! Being a pet sitter is a perfect job for me because it’s flexible enough to give me the time I need with my children, lets me care for and snuggle many sweet animals, and helps me provide for my family. The best part is developing relationships with clients and their pets with repeat visits – it’s like having an extended pet family!”

A Memorable Moment with a Pet Sitting Client

“I’ve cared for so many wonderful animals, but two cats, Mila and Harper, have a special place in my heart. Harper is very friendly and always welcomes me at the door, and Mila, who is usually shy, quickly warmed up to me. She started purring whenever I was there and even let me pet her. Once, their human’s friend, who was supposed to care for them, had an emergency, so I stepped in for a day. Mila and Harper were so pleasantly surprised to see me! They came running up to me, purring and rubbing on my ankles. It totally made my day!”

Dog-Friendly Places?

“Sorry, I have no idea! We have cats right now, not dogs, so I have no experience with that.”

Hobbies Outside of Pet Sitting

“I love learning about other languages and cultures, hiking, and nature photography, especially wildlife photography!”

Random Fun Facts

“Did you know that a group of cats is called a clowder? And a cat lover is called an ailurophile! Fun little tidbits that always make me smile.”
