We are thrilled to announce our Pet Sitter of the Month, Amy Ingram! Amy has been a beloved member of the DFW Pet Sitting family for over a decade, providing exceptional care and love to the pets of Keller. Her dedication and passion for animals have made her an invaluable part of our team.
Meet Amy Ingram
Amy’s journey with DFW Pet Sitting began over ten years ago when she was in between jobs after a brief stint in hospitality. Reflecting on her decision to join our team, Amy shares, “I missed working with animals as I did years previously. When I applied, I had no idea this would eventually become my full-time job after a few years.”
A True Animal Lover
Amy’s love for animals is evident in the countless stories and photos she has collected over the years. “I do so many pets it’s hard to narrow it down. My photo library on my phone is 80% animal pictures, and I can go on for hours with stories. I love them all, even if some are walking disasters,” she says with a laugh. One of Amy’s unique quirks is her stockpile of giant hedgehog toys, which many dogs have become obsessed with thanks to her.
Favorite Spots for Pet Adventures
When Amy isn’t busy caring for pets, she enjoys shopping at Homegoods, TJMaxx, and craft stores. She even has a stroller and a baby carrier for the smaller dogs she looks after. “Big Bentley’s favorite store is Homegoods since I let him pick out his own toy (he requires a certain level of squeakiness), and the ladies there fawn over him since he’s so handsome,” Amy shares.
Gardening Enthusiast
Outside of her pet-sitting duties, Amy is a hardcore gardener with big plans for her garden this year. She spends much of her free time working outside, nurturing her plants and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
Amy’s dedication, love for animals, and vibrant personality make her a standout pet sitter in Keller. We are incredibly grateful to have her as part of the DFW Pet Sitting team. Thank you, Amy, for all that you do!

About DFW Pet Sitting Services
The sitter in this story is a W-2 employee of DFW Pet Sitting Services — background-checked, trained, insured, and bonded. We have never used contractors or gig workers. That is the real difference between us and an app like Rover or Wag: you are not booking a stranger with a profile, you get one assigned sitter — the same person, every visit.
Pet sitting is $25 for 25 minutes for one pet, and you meet your assigned sitter at a free in-home meet-and-greet before the first paid visit. We have cared for Dallas–Fort Worth pets since 2003 and hold 4.9 stars from 500+ Google reviews. Call (214) 574-7387 to set up a free meet-and-greet, or read more about pet sitting in Keller.
