Turtle Creek Boulevard from roughly the 2700 block to the 3900 block is 75219, as are Reverchon Park at 3505 Maple Avenue, Oak Lawn Park at 3400 Turtle Creek Boulevard, Turtle Creek Parkway at 3636, Lee Parkway, Rawlins Street, Hall Street and the Cedar Springs and Lemmon Avenue edges. The housing is mostly towers, so the practical work is building access rather than driveways: concierge desks, visitor logs, elevator fobs, service elevators, valet protocols and building-specific pet rules. North of the creek — the Craftsman streets
Restored 1920s Craftsman homes, bungalows and older estates on the tree-lined streets north of Turtle Creek Parkway, running up toward the Highland Park line. Larger lots, private yards, and a much quieter feel than the boulevard. A dark, empty single-family house on one of these blocks is obvious from the sidewalk, which is why the mail-and-package routine matters more here than it does twenty floors up.
75201 and 75204 — the downtown and State-Thomas edges
South of the neighborhood the ZIP changes without anything else changing much. The 2600 block of Maple Avenue is 75201; so is Klyde Warren Park at 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway and the Katy Trail’s southern trailhead at the American Airlines Center. East toward State-Thomas, the 3300 block of Blackburn Street is 75204. If your building sits on one of those seams, the ZIP on your lease may not match the neighborhood on your mind. Turtle Creek Parkway — 3636 Turtle Creek Boulevard, 75219. A 23.7-acre linear park established in 1913, which is why it reads as a ribbon of green rather than a block. Trails the whole length, benches, a drinking fountain and a nature observation platform. The Dallas Park and Recreation Department has long listed the Turtle Creek greenbelt among the city’s signature destinations, alongside White Rock Lake and the Arboretum.
Katy Trail — 3.5 miles of paved rail-trail along Turtle Creek’s eastern edge, running from Airline Road in the north to the American Airlines Center in the south. It is a City of Dallas park, so the hours are 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., with the lights on from 5 a.m. to sunrise and again from sunset to midnight. Friends of the Katy Trail publish the rules, and two of them govern every walk we do here: keep pets on a short leash, and clean up after them. The others are worth knowing too — no more than two abreast in a group, announce “passing on the left,” a 10 mph limit, walkers on the pedestrian path and wheels on the shared path, keep right, and look both ways at the Harvard and Knox crossings.
How our walkers navigate the Katy Trail — Mile markers are set into the concrete every quarter mile and read the distance from whichever end you started, so zero is either Airline Road or the American Airlines Center. The pole signs are a different system: they are 911 markers, labeled KT-100 through KT-125, spaced roughly an eighth of a mile apart and tied to the city’s GPS, because a 3.5-mile trail cannot have one street address. Our sitters are trained to read out the nearest KT number to a dispatcher rather than guess at a cross street. Parking is at the Reverchon Park lot by the baseball fields, 3505 Maple Avenue, with the ramp up to the trail; there are accessible entrances at the Airline north trailhead, Staubach Pass at Harvard, Knox, Armstrong, Cambrick Plaza, Snyder’s Union, the Ice House and Reverchon Park at Thomsen Overlook. Restrooms are at the Reverchon Recreation Center on the south end. Summer pavement gets hot enough to matter, so we move trail walks to early morning and evening from June through September.
Klyde Warren Dog Park — 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, 75201, at the southern end of the corridor. It is one of the eleven off-leash dog parks the City of Dallas operates, and it is fenced, with a dog drinking bowl and a fountain. Dallas dog park rules apply: no more than three dogs at a time, no food or treats of any kind inside the fence, no glass, pinch and prong collars come off before you go in, leash on entering and leaving, current rabies tags required, and dogs must be spayed or neutered. The city runs a Dog Park Hotline and Rain Out Line at 214-614-6711 because these parks close on wet days. Our sitters call it before they drive.
Reverchon Park — 3505 Maple Avenue, 75219. The city puts it at 41.3 acres, established in 1914, which makes it the largest park in the corridor. Trails, benches, drinking fountains, garden areas, a playground, tennis and sand volleyball courts, a pavilion, and the recreation center with the public restroom. The 1920s ballpark was renovated recently. A bit of local trivia our sitters like: the city notes this area was once called Raccoon Springs, and that the largest oak tree in Dallas is here.
Turtle Creek Parkway Trail — Nearly two miles of paved trail following the creek through gardens, under canopy trees, and past some of Dallas’s most iconic architecture. Quiet, scenic, and perfect for a midday dog walk away from street traffic.

My building has a concierge and controlled elevators. How does that work?
It is most of what we do here, so it is a solved problem rather than an obstacle. At the meet-and-greet we handle registration with management, get the sitter added to your approved-visitor list, and record the fob or key requirements, the elevator restrictions, the visitor parking arrangement and which entrance to use after hours. If management wants proof that we carry commercial liability insurance, tell us and we will get the documentation to their office.
I have a dog and no yard. How do the potty breaks actually work?
On foot, on a leash, out the front of the building — which is why frequency matters more here than anywhere else on this site. A dog on the eleventh floor cannot let himself out, so many of our Turtle Creek clients run two or three visits a day instead of one longer one. We will talk through your dog’s tolerance at the meet-and-greet and build a schedule that does not leave him waiting.
Does my pet ever leave home?
