Railroad Dog Park, or One Star Toyota of Lewisville Railroad Dog Park, is part of a park system that sprawls over 200 acres. The park is sports and recreation-driven, but they didn’t forget the pets. The sizeable open dog park is trendy among pet lovers and residents of Lewisville.

We have to warn you: there aren’t too many shady areas. The best times to come to the park are evenings in the summer and pretty much all day long in the winter. The most recent park upgrades are dog water fountains and pooper-scooper stations.

No children under the age of 11 can come by themselves to the dog park. The park consists of two sections: for big dogs and small dogs. The great news is that it stays open until 11 pm. For all those commuting into Dallas, this is an excellent place for dog walking, even with a busy career. Enjoy!
